The Poet's Table in South Dakota

On a road trip to Mount Rushmore, our waitress mentioned a hidden gem known mostly by the locals. Initially we dismissed it, assuming that we would never go searching in the mountains for a hidden cupboard and table. Then as we drove to Sylvan Lake, we stopped at a sign that read "Little Devil's Tower" and ran into a guy named Nate. He interrupted us because of our cameras and described what he just hiked back from. As he told us the backstory, we realized it was the same hidden gem that our waitress mentioned. Apparently a poet lugged a cupboard, table, and some chairs up these mountains and gave himself an inspirational place to write. So my friend and I hiked up in search of the Poet's Table, and after 3 long hours of problem solving and tracking Nate's bootprints... We finally found it. I have to admit, it felt like one of the greatest accomplishments of my life.
