About Drew Tieng

Drew started exploring photography in 2007, only because his best friend bought a new DSLR. Initially he just dabbled in cameras, but it was nine years later when he started honing his craft while photographing student life at Oakton Community College in 2016. Since then, he has found a deep sense of passion in capturing memories, turning life into art, and giving people the ability to reminisce.

He completed his undergraduate studies in economics and finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and in 2021 he began pursuing an MFA in Film and Television Directing at DePaul University.
